With just one win from their last five matches in all competitions, Tottenham Hotspurs, host newly-promoted Norwich City on Wednesday night.
The morale at Spurs is as expected not good and there were reports earlier this week that one of the players had a training ground bust-up with the head coach Jose Mourinho.
The players are seemingly not buying into the manager’s defensive style of football.
Meanwhile, Norwich is on a mission to avoid relegation. The side sits bottom of the table with a mere 20 points. However, they have improved in the past few weeks, losing just one of their last five matches in all competitions.
Tottenham’s injuries are gradually easing but the visit of Norwich is still expected to come too soon for Hugo Lloris, Ben Davies and Tanguy Ndombele, while long-term absentees Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko remain sidelined.
A first away clean sheet in over a year at Watford is likely to prompt an unchanged back four, with Japhet Tanganga continuing as an ‘inverted left-back’.
Norwich will be without Godfrey after he was sent off against Bournemouth, while fellow center-back Timm Klose is still out with a knee injury.
New signing Lukas Rupp could come in after impressing from the bench, though, while fellow new boy Ondrej Duda should keep his place.
Both teams to score @1.70
