Rumours of Kenyan Striker Dennis Oliech allegedly joining the race to occupy Kibra MP office has been rife on social media after unknown sources leaked his image accompanied by the ODM poster.
The Kibra seat which was previously occupied by Ken Okoth became vacant when he succumbed after a long fight against cancer. The deadly disease isn’t a respecter of persons and has been eating up the Kenyan society. From high-profile people like Bob Collymore and Joyce Laboso to the poor in society, Ken was unfortunate to join the list.
The vacant seat led to a heated race among the major political parties, with influential individuals begging for tickets to run under them. Kibra which is an ODM strongpoint and Raila Odinga’s backyard has seen the likes of Reggae DJ Kris Darlin rise to the occasion and show his political aspirations.
Contradicting the rumours going around, Dennis Oliech took to social media to announce that he will not be running for the political seat but instead showed his support for Kriss Darin in his ballsy venture.
