The Arsenal Universe is in a state of absolute joy at the moment. This is after it emerged that the Gunners are on the verge of completing a sensational 72 Million pound transfer deal for Lille Winger Nicholas Pepe.
Highly respected BBC journalist broke the news on Saturday via his Twitter account.
Arsenal have reached an agreement with Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe for ~€80m, paid by instalments to fit #AFC budget. 5yr deal, agent agreement still needed but set to be closed in next 24/48hrs. Napoli also have agreement with #LOSC but agent rejected proposal

Nicholas Pepe was Lille’s top scorer last season and was only second to Kylian Mbappe in the Fench league’s scoring charts. Arsenal have been in die need of a wide forward and Pepe perfectly fits that bill.
The Emirates faithful could barely believe the news…
If a front there of Alexandre Lacazette, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang & Nicolas Pépé materializes, we’ll have one of the best front lines in world football. Last season, they managed a combined 73 goals & 34 assists.

✅Created 16 'big chances'
✅Averages 2.7 dribbles a game, success rate of 55%
