Mason Greenwood sets United record in Champions League – now back to school on Friday

Mason Greenwood has only made his first appearance with Man United but what a night that was. The 17-year-old was the final sub in the 3-1 win over PSG helping United put enough pressure on the mentally struggling home side.

Aged exactly 17 years and 156 days, he’s broken the previous record held by who once featured for United in the Champions League aged 17 years and 310 days.

As for Greenwood, he shouldn’t forget that there are classes on Friday. He studies at Ashton on Mersey School that allows him to dovetail football and education quite well.

Would you look at that bench @manutd.
