University of Zambia has banned ‘Half-naked’ female students from using the Library.
Girl students are asked to dress ‘modestly’ and not disturb other male students by the institution through a notice.
“It has come to our attention that some female students dress half-naked as they use the library, a situation that is disturbing the male students. We therefore advise the female students to dress modestly as they use university facilities.” the notice read in part.
Media reports suggests that some students were agitated by this decision.
“Why should they ask them how to dress? Let them wear what they want anytime and anywhere,” male student Anthony Kunda stated.
