Airtel recently launched its 4G service in Kenya with the aim of providing fast internet to its customer.
Airtel is Kenya 2nd largest telco service provider and it now offers fast browsing speeds and better network connectivity.
Prasanta Das Sarma, the Managing Director of Airtel gave a warm speech and expressed his gratification on the launch.
“Airtel is committed to continuously innovate and improve the quality of its products and services for a delightful customer experience. We believe that we have launched our 4G service at the most opportune time especially now that many customers have access to more 4G enabled handsets and devices,” Mr Sarma said.
Airtel is now offering ‘double data’ to all Airtel customers with a 4G handset and 4G SIM card. Also, customers who upgrade their SIM cards to 4G will get a 2GB Data for free.
Customers can also upgrade their SIM cards by dialing *100# or get a 4G SIM free of cost from any Airtel outlet
