Ruto Snubs Uhuru’s Event

Deputy President William Ruto was missing in action at the Covid-19 conference.

Ruto was expected to be in attendance at the function alongside President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Reports emerged that the second in command allegedly declined to attend the ceremony.

Additional information claimed that the move by DP Ruto was due to how he was snubbed during the Coronavirus fight.

Uhuru Opens Bars

President Uhuru during his 12th National address finally headed to the cries of bar owners.

He ordered that despite the opening of the joints, they would have to observe all the restriction measures.

Uhuru further extended the curfew period from 9 pm to 11 pm with bars and restaurants required to close by 10 pm.

The Head of State further extended the nationwide curfew by 60 days.

Concerns were raised over the state of health of his rival for the top seat Joe Biden after being involved in a presidential debate days before the predicament.

Despite the alarm raised, it was confirmed that Biden had tested negative for the disease.

Ruto Banned from Jubilee Headquarters

DP Ruto looks like a man under siege after new orders were given against him by the Jubilee Party.

The former URP leader found himself on the wrong side of Jubilee Secretary-General Raphael Tuju after visiting the ruling party’s headquarters for the second time in a span of two weeks.

Ruto had used the venue to hold a closed meeting with some party members, a move that did not go down well with the party officials.

Tuju through a press briefing noted that the deputy president was barred from accessing the offices at the Pangani based building.

According to the former Rarieda MP, the party will not tolerate the usage of the offices for 2022 campaign meetings by Ruto.
