Kilifi Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi has been arrested.
Saburi was put in cuffs immediately after he was discharged from the Coast General Hospital.
DCI detectives who apprehended him, had camped outside the health facility awaiting his release after serving the mandatory 14 days quarantine rule.
The leader is seen escorted by the officers while wearing a mask.

The new-look is in line with the directive issued by Health CS Mutahi Kagwe of all citizens to have their own masks.
The politician had breached the quarantine orders issued by the government after he arrived back into the country. from Germany.
The Coastal born leader’s action was termed a danger to the people after Kenya had confirmed it’s the first case of the Coronavirus in March.
President Uhuru Kenyatta gave the green light for action to be taken against Saburi and other people who would not follow the law.
Saburi was stated to have engaged in a meeting with his staff after jetting back.
