Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Leicester City midfielder James Maddison this January and want to include Jesse Lingard as part of the deal.
Maddison, a childhood United supporter has been in fine form for the Foxes this campaign attracting interest from several clubs including Man United who are in dire need of new additions.
United now want to include Lingard in the deal according to reports in the UK. The England international has been in poor form this season and has come under heavy criticism from a section of the supporters, United coach Solskjaer has however stuck with him.
His time at Old Trafford could however come to an end this January if Leicester accepts him plus around 50 million pounds for 23-year old Maddison who is said to be keen on a move to Manchester United.
Solskjaer is expected to beef up the team this January with the midfield and attack key areas that he has admitted needs strengthening.
Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen, Lyon forward Moussa Dembele and Inter Milan Striker Lautaro Martinez are some of the players linked with United.
