A chilly morning today, perhaps a signal that we are in October, you should carry your umbrella and dress warmly because it might rain.

Strong winds and unexpected dust storms hit several parts of the country on Tuesday evening leading to power outages in some areas. There was also a traffic snarl-up on different Nairobi routes due to poor visibility.

The Kenya Met Department has revealed that this was caused by a build-up of high temperatures and Kenyans should expect a change in temperatures.

Revelations of how 315 schools are planning to cheat in the national examinations have emerged just weeks to the start of the tests.

The examination-cheating plan involves officials and schools in 39 counties, with the affected primary and secondary institutions now under increased scrutiny.

Ruto on Spot for Launching ‘Ghost’ Project

A House team has put Deputy President William Ruto on the spot for commissioning a Ksh5.3 billion ’empty’ Lower Nzoia Irrigation Project without involving the parent ministries.

On June 7, the DP went ahead to launch the irrigation project that cuts across Siaya and Busia counties at a time the line ministries claimed the whole project was a mere skeleton and not ready for the launch presided over by Ruto.

Kenyans were treated to drama on Tuesday afternoon after the ODM Party tweeted that Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa had ditched Tanga tanga and rejoined the party.
