Kenyan speedy rugby winger Collins Injera has announced the arrival of his third-born online, and Kenyans can’t stop talking.

On Thursday, September 19, the Mwamba RFC player posted a photo on his Instagram page. The photo was stunningly beautiful but what caught the eye of his many followers on the picture — which also had his wife Chebet Limo, Injera himself and their two elder kids — was the newborn.

It goes without saying that the seemingly one-month-old baby is the latest joy of the family going by the kind of congratulatory remarks which followed the caption-less post.

Collins Injera is a Kenyan rugby legend. He currently holds the second place for the number of tries scored on the World Rugby Sevens Series so far- an achievement intertwined with his great talent at the Kenyan national rugby sevens team.

He keeps shining, and when you think he’s almost retiring, he regenerates and shines further. Currently, he plays for Mwamba Rugby Club, a side he has been so instrumental for.

Notably, and due to his unwavering skills and performance for the country, the 32-year old was, in 2010, awarded the presidential Order of Golden Warriors (OGW) alongside his brother Humphrey Kayange for their performance in the 2008–09 IRB Sevens World Series.

He would later be named the Player of the final in 2016 Singapore Sevens, after he helped Kenya to win their first tournament in World Sevens Series.

Injera was also named the Kenyan Sportsman of the Year in 2009.
