Bandari will be without two forwards when they take on Zoo FC in a rescheduled Kenyan Premier League match on Wednesday, September 18 due to injuries.
The Dockers will host the Kericho based side at Mbaraki Sports Club in a match that had to be scheduled for another date due to their CAF Confederation Cup match. Against Zoo, Bernard Mwalala’s side will be without star-man Abdallah Hassan and Benjamin Mosha. The two picked jaw and hamstring injuries respectively and will now miss Wednesday’s clash.
Mwalala has now revealed that the two will sit out of the clash. He is however confident that those who will be selected for the match will do a tidy job as the 2018/19 season KPL runners up seek their first win of the season after their opening day draw against Mathare United at Ruaraka Stadium in Nairobi.
“Hassan and Mosha are out of Zoo match. They both have injuries. Mosha has a hamstring problem while Hassan has a jaw issue and they need some time to recover. However, I am not worried because we have players who can replace the in those positions, I trust them to do a good job,” he told Opera News.
Bandari played to a 0-0 draw with Mathare on week one while Zoo registered their first-ever day one win with a 3-1 triumph over Chemelil Sugar at Kericho Green Stadium.
The two teams have met six times in the Kenyan Premier League. Bandari has won two of those encounters while Zoo has registered one win. The other three matches have ended in draws.
