Citizen TV news anchor Jeff Koinange is not yet done in his mission of fulfilling the late Ken Okoth’s educational dreams for the Kibra people.

The award-winning journalist on Tuesday received batches of books from donors which he handed to the memorial library named after the late MP.

“The Ken Okoth Memorial Library in KIBRA is FILLING UP fast @MbagathiHighSchool…Thanks for the latest contributions from The @EAPublishers and their Team Leader, Edward Standa……Asanteni sana!” posted Jeff on Twitter.

The Journalist had delivered the first batch of books on August 31.

After the death of Ken Okoth, Jeff revealed that a library which was bound to be launched at Mbagathi Girls High School was to be named after him.

He, however, declined the gesture and named it after the late MP.

“A very SAD day…Ken Okoth was a GREAT man…A FIGHTER…A great LEADER…We were just about to LAUNCH the “Jeff Koinange LIBRARY ” at Mbagathi Girls in Kibra,” wrote Jeff on his Instagram page after news of Okoth’s death broke out.

He further added that: “…In HONOR of Ken, I will rename it “KEN OKOTH LIBRARY”…Rest in Peace Bro…Till we MEET.”

Okoth died on July 26, at the Nairobi Hospital after a long battle with colorectal cancer.

He was lauded for his initiatives in ensuring quality education is given to his constituents by giving students bursaries and investing in major educational infrastructures.
