Team Embrace, a women legislators group in support of ODM leader Raila Odinga’s handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta is now calling on the counterpart group Inua Mama to join them.
Led by Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris the team now wants Deputy President William Ruto to intervene and have Inua Mama, a women group created in his support, to join team embrace.
The women leaders made of Governors, Senators and MPs who call themselves daughters of Raila were attending a mega rally in Kakamega held at Bukhungu stadium.

Passaris further accused the Inua Mama legislators of forming the group with intentions to undermine the handshake.
“We are chipping in a lot of money in support of this Embrace group and support of the handshake. It is so unfortunate that the team is causing division. We want the deputy president to talk to the Inua Mama team to join the Embrace team”, Passaris argued.
