Praying in tongues is valuable! When we pray in tongues, we release our destiny and pray the will of the Father.
Many Christians don’t speak in tongues because they are afraid, doubtful or don’t understand it, they do it because speaking in tongues is a gift that is given to the body of Christ (All Christians). That’s why when the Holy Spirit came the first thing they did was to speak in tongues.
There is so much confusion when it comes to the subject of Speaking in tongues. One thing you should know is that speaking in tongues is one in essence but different in purpose. If you understand this you won’t be confused. Now Just because you don’t pray in tongues doesn’t mean you don’t have faith.
Just because you don’t pray in tongues doesn’t mean you haven’t received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Don’t worry, if you don’t pray in tongues your sins are not too much don’t feel bad.
People don’t receive the gift of tongues because they are overthinking it, they are freaking out tryna understand how it all works with their human senses. The truth is, it is not going to be fruitful for your mind. That’s what the scriptures say. It seems most Christians haven’t quite understood the logic behind it and here were some reactions:
If you know they taught you how to speak in tongues in your church just know that you’re going to a wrong church cos this isn’t something you’re taught. It comes upon you from God.

You cannot translate tongues but you can interprete your tongues. It’s usually groaning and jibberish, not a known language. Again it cannot be translated.

Why didn’t Jesus Chris speak in tongues when the holy sprit descended on him during his baptism? Besides why is just the apostles recorded in the Bible that spoke in tongues?

It has been abused so much, it doesn’t seem real anymore.. But believers know its real.. It only takes the power of the Holy Spirit to come into you for you to speak it well..

It’s important to speak in tongues as Christians. The prayers said are those you really need to pray about. It’s refreshing and super effective. Just let the spirit take over. ✊🏼
