Kenya Premier League newcomers Wazito FC have been slammed once again by fans for their vain post on social media. The reactions were triggered by one fan who was boasting about the club’s wealth and questioned other clubs’ source of wealth.

Ambitious Wazito, who were promoted to the KPL after winning the National Super League title in the 2018-19 season, appears to be preparing for a tight competition with their recent transfer activities.

Already, the Camp Toyoyo-based side have signed several quality players like Derick Otanga, Rwandese Patrick Sibomana, former Vihiga United captain Bernard Ochieng among others and have also approached the outgoing Gor Mahia captain Harun Shakava.

With their fine preparations, Wazito FC fans have taken to social media to fire warning to other KPL clubs to prepare for tough times next season.

But this did not go well with fans of other clubs as they gave them a witty reply;

Jonathan Okoyoh Hizi kelele mlipiga mkiwa SPL sometimes back.did you know that you could go back and play NSL.? chema chajiuza kibaya chajitembeza.karibuni SPL tena and this time round don’t be relegated with your new signings coz it will be a disgrace to football in Kenya.wacheni kelele chezeni game mtambulike.SPL si nsl

Eric Oluoch Fulham did the same and the end results was relegation

Ochieng Christopher Odhiambo Wazito hata top 8 wataonea viusasa, haphazard signing of big names,

Maurice Minard Kisothy hata kogalo ni ya mafuns hawakungoja ya mzungu mweusi haokoe jahazi

Wickie Kagawa That’s another Fulham in making,despite their many signings they were still relagated

Martin Odhiambo Playing is not all about signings

Dennis Luvembe He he…lakini now days stupidity is a talent

Cliff Aokoh Jipanoran Tutawapeah Otengah fc leave alone the mighty K’ogallo

Gerald Omondi Quite some silly bragging.

Lugendo Bernard Having the best 11 players doesn’t mean you have the best team

This is not the first time Wazito FC are being bashed for their bragging. On 9 July, the club’s president Ricardo Badoer was blasted for his vain post on Twitter when he said that he is counting the time left until the end of 2019/20 season when Wazito FC will name themselves KPL champions.

Here are some of the reactions he got;
