Days after news clouded the media that West Pokot Governor John Krop Lonyangapuo has joined Team Tangatanga,he has now come out with a different tune.
Governor Lonyangapuo who has gained fame for his funny sentiments including the ‘Kijana Fupi amenona’ jibe has stated his bold new political stand.
Speaking to JK Live on Citizen TV Lonyangapuo said that he has no time at his exposure to engage himself in either Tangatanga or Kieleweke politics.
The West Pokot legislator has also warned the political class for engaging in early politicking echoing President Uhuru Kenyatta’s voice.
Lonyangapuo has stated that early politicking is being entertained in Nairobi making it gain ground at the extent of undermining President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy.
“When do I have time to say “Tangatanga’ or ‘Kieleweke’? To me, we should stop the politicking,” he warned.

However Lonyangapuo has also told people opposed to politics to differentiate between political seasons with political statements. According to Lonyangapuo, a political statement can me made any time,whereas a political season has a stipulated timeline.
” Let us not confuse political seasons with political statements,” he said.
On his 2022 Presidential endorsement, Lonyangapuo refused to comment saying that he should be asked that question in 2022.
“The Presidential debate should be brought up in 2021, not now. We should not put our leaders and people under pressure,” he stated.
