
Deputy President William Ruto’s trip in Busia County has left a family in deep state of mourning.
A 7-Year-Old Boy, Sidney Mambala Felix, was knocked down by a car in Ruto’s convoy. The Vehicle that knocked the young boy leading to his death was carrying the DP’s press team according to the Police In Busia.

Sidney Mambala succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment at Port Victoria Hospital.
The Deputy President Condoled with the family of Mambala after the tragic incident and his peers who have been deeply affected by the death of Sidney.

Ruto has also promised to stand with the family at this difficult time.
“I have spoken with Mzee to pass my consideration and assured the family of reference and support during this difficult time. May God rest young Sidney in eternal peace,” Said DP Ruto.

The deputy president had just finished his address to residents of Budalangi at the St.Benedict’s Budalangi Secondary School; and was leaving the venue, when the incident happened.
