The African Union envoy’s reception at the market was enormomous.

Raila was appearing in public amid calls by Deputy President Dr William Ruto’s allies that he should record a statement wit the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on the ongoing probe into the fake gold syndicate.
Ruto allies castigated Raila over the weekend, dismissing Raila’s claims of being a whistle blower in the fake gold syndicate.
