Jubilee politician now on Uhuru’s neck to tackle Corruption

A close ally to president Uhuru Kenyatta and Embakasi North politician Embakasi Wangoro Mwangi now wants strict measures taken against corrupt individuals and government officials.

In an interview, Wangoro states that Politicians should adhere to Uhuru’s directive and shun down rhetoric politics that are derailing the economic progress.

“I would like to call on president Uhuru to strike the whip to those politicians stealing public money for their own gain,” he states.

He adds that those politicians in power should serve Kenyans rather than engaging in early politics characterized by tribal dimensions.

The politician states that the politics of ethnicity, have becomes an inter-community competition, not merely for representation in governance, but for resources.

“In Kenya, tribal politics has given rise to rampant corruption, marginalization, disenfranchisement of entire communities, and full brown violence,”he states.

He adds that Uhuru shouldn’t spare anyone mentioned by the investigative institution noting this was the only way to regain public confidence that has been tainted.

He argued that Uhuru’s big 4 agenda, as well as his legacy, may not be realized if the head of state fails to sack them as the money intended for developments is channeled to individuals’ bank accounts.

“Kenyans are tired of scandal stories everyday and public confidence is diminishing, the few wrongs are overdoing the positive progress of the Jubilee government and thus those mentioned should step down awaiting completion of the investigations,” he stated.
