It seems that there are favorited players at United that not even Solskjaer can get rid off!
Indeed, Antony Martial only penned a new £200,000-a-week deal at Old Trafford back in January but has since seen his form take a huge dip.
The Frenchman fell out of favour towards the end of the season as his attitude was questioned.
But it appears Martial will still be a United player at the start of next term – and it’s all down to co-chairman Joel Glazer.
But it looks like the Norwegian will be forced to play Martial next season, even if he would rather sell the out-of-form star, according to the Daily Mirror.
Solskjaer’s predecessor Jose Mourinho was keen to invest in a new left-sided attacker, even after Alexis Sanchez’s arrival in January 2018.
But Glazer and Ed Woodward’s love of Martial meant the Portuguese boss couldn’t bring in key target Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.
