Orange Democratic Movement party has questioned integrity of unnamed politicians over their silence following the expulsion of nominated MP Godfrey Osotsi by Amani National Congress.

The Musalia Mudavadi led party on Tuesday revealed that Osotsi, the former Secretary General, had been formally removed from the party’s register, a move that could make him lose his seat.

“Please take note of the letter by Registrar of Political Parties dated on 13th May. The above mentioned person has been from the party’s register as a member and cannot transact any business of it’s behalf,” said Barack Muluka, the party’s Secretary General.

Mr Osotsi has been at loggerheads with the party’s leadership and has often supported ODM leader Raila Odinga’s ideologies. Last week, the court ruled against him in a bid to reclaim the Secretary General post.

And Raila Odinga’s ODM party, through Director of Communications Philip Etale, maintained that the Orange party is usually victimised for upholding the rule of law.

“If it was the @TheODMparty whose member was the one struck off from the party register, you would see all charlatans and choir masters and mistresses shouting how undemocratic ODM is. Thank God it is ANC, nobody will talk about it. Wacha ODM itambe,” he said.

Last month, Deputy President William Ruto viciously attacked the Orange party following expulsion of Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa. Ms Jumwa is fighting for her future in parliament.

Despite her removal, the party is yet to write to Speaker Justin Muturi demanding for her removal from parliament, a move that will pace way for a by-election in Malindi.
