DCI arrest wanted suspect Samba on varsity student assault case

Remaining wanted suspect in the assault of a university student Kevin Mango by alleged president’s Personal Aid Jomo Gecaga’s friends has finally been arrested thanks to public information according to the DCI.

Nabbed Innocent Samba together with Mr James Luambe Odete arrested on Thursday are wanted for grievous harm and malicious damage to property.

Samba will be arraigned in court tomorrow to face appropriate charges.

The seven who participated in the assault are; Innocent Samba, Collins Orina, Ben Mugha, Jay Staxx, Collins Orina, Mirftat Musa and Steven Barisa.

They claimed that Lloyd Mango was spreading information that they liked to have homosexual affairs and were dealing in fake currencies. The gang decided to enlist the help of Robert Omwenga Momanyi in luring the student to the house where he was assaulted in turns.

However Kenyans who have lost hope in justice are more than positive the young men will walk Scot free and continue to cause damage just like government graft suspects.

One even noted that an earlier arrested suspect in the same crime has been seen by his Instagram social media fans enjoying life on the streets proving that the nabbing are nothing but public relation stunts.

Nairobi politician, Robert Omwenga Momanyi and three other suspects, who were arrested last week over claims of assaulting a man in Nairobi, appeared in court on Monday on charges of causing grievous harm.

Milimani Chief Magistrate Martha Mutuku released each on Sh300,000 cash bail. The case will be heard on June 13.
