Controversial city lawyer Miguna Miguna believes that ODM Leader is the resemblance of Judas Iscariot who betrayed Jesus in the bible.
Miguna accuses Raila of abdicating his responsibility to fight for poor Kenyans while basking in the glory of the ‘handshake’. He says that Raila was doing nothing useful by organising rallies in Nyanza as President Uhuru Kenyatta rewards his cronies with state jobs.
“Mr. Raila Odinga betrayed Kenyans for 30 pieces of silver,” argued Miguna in a fiery Facebook post.
He castigated the former premier for not signing any agreement with Uhuru on the restitution of atrocities committed by the government in 2017, including the bungled elections.
“Raila received zero concessions from Uhuru Kenyatta. Zero apology for stealing the 2017 elections. Zero concessions for killing and maiming Raila Odinga supporters. Nothing. Zilch!” Lamented the lawyer.
The former Nairobi county gubernatorial hopeful lambasted Raila for returning from China with nothing to show for Nyanza region as the president secured avocado and Konza City construction deals.
He further noted, “Before accompanying Uhuru Kenyatta to China, Raila announced to Luos that he would return with Shs. 368 billion loan to build the SGR from Naivasha to Kisumu. Instead, he returned empty-handed. Uhuru Kenyatta brought back avocado deals for Murang’a and money to build Konza City for the elite from Mount Kenya.”
The vocal politician opined the priority needs that the government should provide to Kenyans entailed sufficient social amenities and services, not handshake rallies.
