A woman is pleading with the courts to let her reconcile with her accuser barely a week after threatening to kill the complainant.
The woman identified as Zainabu Hussein is said to have sent lawyer Ishmael Tinega Nyaribo a chilling text message that she would kill him.
The charge sheet read to Ms Zainabu says she committed the offense at an undisclosed place in May 2nd.
“You willfully and without reasonable excuse sent a threatening message to one Ishmael Tinega Nyaribo,” the charge stated.
However, Zainabu pleaded with the court to hand her a favourable bail, as she was willing to reconcile with lawyer Nyaribo over the text message.
She also denied the charge that she had sent a threatening text message to the city lawyer.
“The accused is willing to seek reconciliation with the complainant and is, therefore, asking to be released on reasonable cash bail,” a lawyer told the court.
The case will be head in June 6th after the courts released Ms Zainabu on a Sh100,000 cash bail.
