Bobi Wine is yet to get justice after he was manhandled by police officers during the Easter holiday.
Authority has condemned the actions of some officers who broke Bobi Wine’s car glass ahead of Easter concert.
The statement from the head of police comes two days after the president issued a statement to the public on holding a concert on any public rally.
Bobi Wine was arrested at the wake of the Easter holiday for alleged planning of protests.
This caused an uproar from Ugandans who protested for his release.
On Saturday through his Twitter, President Yoweri Museveni bashed officers of using power but instead, they should have towed the car to wherever they wanted to be.
I also disapprove of the method the Police used to break the glass of Bobi Wine’s car. They should have towed the vehicle to wherever they wanted him to be,
Bobi Wine’s car was broken into and teargas was thrown into his car to get him out of the car.
The police head echoed Museveni’s sentiments and promised to act upon them.
“If the President condemns any vice within us, we must act. And for that matter, we are going to summon all officers who were involved in the operation,” commented Police spokesman.
