Police hunting Trans Nzoia woman after butchering husband

The police are reportedly hunting for a 30 year old woman suspected of stabbing her 33-year-old husband to death following a domestic dispute, in Cherengany, Trans Nzoia County.

She stabbed her husband to death on Friday evening following a dispute over the proceeds from the sale of a  tree.

Jackline Nanjala had sought answers from her husband Collins Musial Alukhaba during the incident in Marrum village, within Musoli Farm.

According to Trans Nzoia county police commander Ayub Ali, the man responded by caning his wife before she took a kitchen knife and stabbed him on the chest.

Homicide among romantic partners is now on the rise. Just recently a 47-year-old woman was on Saturday arrested in Gangsta, Murang’a County, after killing her husband in cold blood.

According to the publication, the suspect killed the man using a machete, a hammer, and an axe.

The woman reportedly dumped the tools inside a toilet and tried to set the deceased’s body on fire.

She was nabbed while burying the corpse in an attempt to cover up for the heinous crime
