Deputy President William Ruto seem to be a man who indeed reads and follow’s the teachings of the Bible.

Ruto has time and again said that he is a man of God and that he believes in God and his good teachings.

One of the teachings of the Lord revolve around Forgiveness. Ruto seem to have learnt some pretty good lessons on this during his Sunday school days if his latest set of action is anything to go by.

We all remember that four people were arrested for stealing William Ruto’s eggs and with that, the DP once again became the center of attraction with many keen to see how he will deal with the egg thieves.

A Section of Kenyans were however quick to rebuke the police for moving with speed to deal with the petty thieves while moving like snails when it comes to dealing with capital offenders like corrupt Government officials.

That aside, DP Ruto has dropped cases against the four who stole his eggs.

This is after both parties apparently agreed to deal with the matter out of Court.

Eldoret West police boss Zachariah Bittok on Thursday confirmed the deal.

“Though initial investigations revealed that the four workers, who are residents in the homestead, were involved in the stealing of the eggs, we have received instructions from above to allow the affected parties to solve the matter outside the court,” said Mr Bittok.

The decision to settle the matter out of court will certainly cool the talks around the eggs that saw a number of politicians like Joshua Kutuny of Cherangany take on Ruto and the Police for moving with speed to deal with egg thieves while giving a blind eye on the Corrupt.

“People who steal trays of eggs are quickly arrested and put on trial, but when it comes to leaders who are stealing billions of public funds, police hesitate to take action,” said Mr Kutuny.
