Kenyan Female artiste Akothee is set to perform alongside top musician across the African continent in a top International concert.
The ‘Lotto’ hitmaker has been listed among headlining artistes to perform during the One Africa Music Festival 2019 which will be held in Dubai on 15th November.
Akothee will be the only artiste representing Kenya during the festival and this will mark a major milestone in her music career.
This is however not the first time that Akothee will be performing during this festival since she was also on the line up in 2018.
Out of 16 artistes who will be performing only 3 are female artistes and this shows how extra ladies have to work to thrive in the industry.
Other artistes who will share a stage with Akothee include, Diamond Platnumz, Wizkid, Harmonize, Tekno,Burna Boy, Eddy Kenzo among others.
At the look of this poster, some Kenyans had thought that Kenya was not represented and some believe that Khaliraph Jones deserves to on the list too.
Other Kenyans were quick to note that it is indeed a good sign that Kenya is represented and the fact that a female artiste has taken up that mantle.
