Dear Ugandans, the time is ripe to kick out the stubborn old man

First of all, let me be clear that Bobi Wine’s arrest and subsequent incarceration has nothing to do with the anti-social media demonstrations. No it is something bigger, it is dictator Museveni trying to test the waters on how far Ugandans can go.

Your despotic President is trying to see the popularity of the firebrand politician, who is currently the face of opposition politics in Uganda. It is either you rise up against Museveni now or forever keep quiet.

Museveni has outlived his usefulness. His brothers Muammar Gaddafi and Omar Al Bashir are long gone, why is he still ruling your country with impunity?

The story of Gadaffi and Al Bashir should tell all Ugandans that despots don’t leave power unless they are kicked out. These people have lost touch with reality, they believe they are small gods.

The people of Sudan demonstrated consistently for close to four months before Bashir was cornered. But do you know what started the demos?

The Sudan uprising was triggered by an increase in the price of bread. Yes, Al Bashir one of the world’s most wanted criminals was ousted because of bread.

So what motivation do you need to kickout out Museveni? The arrest of Bobi Wine should make you people mad. Go to the streets and put the dictator on the sword.

Despite commiting war crimes, Al Bashir was not arrested by ICC. So don’t sit their thinking that someone will come in and help you with Museveni. You are on your own.

Rise up, arm yourself and take on your enemy. The arrest of Bobi Wine can make you stronger or weaker. But it shouldn’t be in vain.
