Tanzanian Songstress Nandy shut it down last night during her album launch which was held at Golden Ice Bistro in Nairobi.
The Singer made a special entrance on the Red carpet with Willy Paul and the pair was all glam for the occasion.
The event saw Nandy perform her popular hit songs, Ninogeshe, Aibu and many other of her tracks.
Nandy also gave the platform for other Kenyan artistes who were present to perform.
Some of the Kenyan musicians and celebrities who also turned up for the event to support Nandy include, Prezzo, Naiboi, Dj Shiti, Gabu, Hassan Mugambi, Masauti, Rashid Abdalla and others.
Nandy says that the reason why she decided to launch her album in Kenya is that she describes Kenya as her second home and she has been receiving support from many Kenyans which she greatly appreciaties.
Every artiste had something to say and mainly to congratulate Nandy on this big move to cross the borders and reach out to her Kenyan fan base.
Some of the celebrities who had something to say is Dj Shiti who mentioned that he has been a big fan of Nandy ever since she released her first song and she has seen her grow in her music career.
He also added that he has been maintaining communication with her and supported her music throughout.
Willy Paul on his end also cheered her on saying that her move serves as an inspiration to other ladies who are in the music industry or would like to pursue it as a career.
Tanzanian artiste Dogo Janja and Nandy’s cousin are among the people who purchased Nandy’s album by splashing dollars.
Nandy had expected to see the venue filled up and indeed Kenyan turned up in numbers leading to a successful launch event.
