Ever met someone who is so loyal to you to an extent that he/she is willing to take a bullet for You?
Well, such is the case of Former Sports CS Rashid Echesa and Deputy President William Ruto.
Rashid is a known fanatic of DP William Ruto and to him, if Ruto cannot be the President of Kenya come 2022, then no one else will.
It’s now 2 months since Echesa was shown the door by President Uhuru Kenyatta but that seem to have done little to dampen his spirits.
In as much as he still remains in the dark over the reasons as to why he was sacked, Echesa is still upbeat and has one mission in life right now, that of ensuring Ruto makes it to Statehouse come 2022.
Echesa has vowed to die for Ruto. He has said that he will ensure that Ruto becomes the only song sang in the Luhyia Nation.
“I really don’t know why I was sacked, but I suspect the dismissal is because of my closeness to DP William Ruto whom I will die for, by making him the most popular presidential candidate in Western.”
Echesa looks to have forgiven all those that contributed to his downfall. The former boxer has said that he has no hard feelings with anyone and that he is working behind the scenes to ensure he bounces back in the Political scene as soon as possible.
“Though the sacking was a dent on my career, who knows, I might find myself back in a big position,” added Echesa.
Acknowleding the fact that he is now a free man, Echesa has said that he now has all the time to spearhead a vigorous campaign for DP William Ruto.
“Now that I am a free man, I will vigorously campaign for Ruto in Western to popularize DP’s presidential candidature. I will be on a serious campaign drive to make sure that Ruto becomes the next President,” he Said.
Well, it seems like Echesa will not have to wait for long to bounce back in the Political scene as a William Ruto win come 2022 will definately guarantee him a place in the DP’s government.
