Tusker FC Head Coach Robert Matano has blamed a slow start and poor finishes for their loss to Gor Mahia FC.

Gor Mahia finished the job in the opening half and despite Tusker dominating the closing half, they were unable to get the goals.

Matano says they had to bring in Peter Nzuki and Clyde Senaji to stabilize his midfield hence their impressive run the second half.

“Of course the second half we came back better. In the first, we started off slowly and gave Gor Mahia more room. We brought in players that could hold the ball. It was our half but we could not make them count, ” he said after the clash.

Gor Mahia have 55 points while Tusker have 38 points from the last 26 matches at position six.
