Gor Mahia yet to pay their coaches for months

Gor Mahia head coach Hassan Oktay has not been paid for two months now despite his impressive run in the league.

The Club’s organizing secretary Judith Nyangi has revealed that the players salaries have been cleared but the technical bench has been without pay for some time.

In her post in one of Gor Mahia FC platforms, Nyangi raised concerns on how the playing unit can survive without the technical bench.

“Two months now without paying the coach. Players are paid salary and bench left out. Does it mean players can exist without the TB? #NoWaterNoElectricity” reads her post.

Gor Mahia have had issues in payment and their former coach Dylan Kerr had to go for days without water and electricity in his Kileleshwa house.

The Briton was for some months forced to swim in the morning as the only means of bathing.

Their are times he lacked bus fare to the team’s training grounds in Eastlands and was forced to jog from Kileleshwa to Camp Toyoyo in Jericho, creating the illusion of a fitness-conscious.
