Manchester United’s poor performance during the Manchester derby on Wednesday sparked a lot of criticism, which continue to pour everyday.

On doing the assessment, football pundits, fans and managers have been blaming one United player whose brilliance was not seen during the match despite the heavy cash invested on him.

United succumbed to a 2-0 defeat by Pep’s boys after silly mistakes by the goalkeeper- though, many do not talk about this.

All focus is on Paul Pogba, whose attitude and drive was pointed to have led to the humiliating defeat.

And former Premier League footballer Robbie Savage has slammed Pogba’s pathetic and embarrassing show in United’s latest setback. He said that it can be a big mistake ever in football to compare Pogba with Messi.

“Can we just talk about Barcelona without the ball? Messi, the great players without the ball they work just as hard when they haven’t got it – and this City team reflects that,” Savage said.

“You see Bernardo Silva chasing back, for the first goal Pogba lets Bernardo Silva run off him and has a one-on-one with Luke Shaw.

“The second goal, [Jesse] Lingard and Fred let [Raheem] Sterling run past them in the middle of the park.

“Desire, attitude, performance. It should be a privilege to play for Manchester United.”

He continued: “You’ve got the ability to be at this football club, but I’ve got to say that some of the performances of these Manchester United players were pathetic and embarrassing.

Pogba has of recent faced a lot of criticism following his dismal contribution to the club with Roy Keane stating that he wouldn’t believe his words.
