Kalonzo swept by the cyclone of church Harambees as Ruto ally questions his offerings

The new step of churches taking up firm stands on politically sponsored harambees has started to elicit different reactions from political leaders.

This comes after Anglican Church Today announced opening reviews into politically sponsored harambees. The Anglican church also sent a series of warning to its sanctuaries over sanitizing proceeds of corruption.

Archbishop Jackson ole Sapit stated this hard truth that is now evoking different reactions from DP Ruto allies.

The former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has found himself in the receiving end after DP Ruto ally questioned his offertory.

Kericho senator Aaron Cheruyoit has openly questioned Hon Kalonzo Musyoka’s tithing from his Yatta farm asking him to mention the church he offers too.

To which church does Kalonzo Musyoka take as offertory the proceeds from his Yatta farm ?

This comes as Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen proposed banning of all sinners from participating in church harambees and also from giving offerings and tithes.

It will be great to see churches ban all harambees in church. It will be even greater to see them ban sinners from contributing tithes, offerings and harambee donations in church. May be then we shall truly say we are in Caanan or better still heaven on earth!

All these reactions are coming from DP Ruto’s ally. Deputy president William Ruto has established himself as the master of church harambees so the churches taking a stand is seen as a blow to him.
