The twist in Moi University student murder has left her friends dumbfounded by ‘lies’ spread through local media.
Ivy Wangechi, a 6th year Medicine student from Moi University, was murdered by a man who many has said to be her boyfriend.
The local media had reported that the lady had infected the killer with HIV AIDS and that he was on a revenge mission.
Others pointed out that the killer was financing her studies and she ended up cheating on him which angered him.
But traveling from Thika to Eldoret with just one motive of killing?
Wangechi’s classmates have come out to defend her and praise her for being a hardworking lady and anticipated doctor to be.
Rodgers Dan Abidha, a social media user, has claimed that he knew the lady for close to 6 years now and were both doing same projects.
” She was such a hard worker, a good student and an amazing doctor to be. She stayed late taking care of patients, diligently followed up on them, stop spreading malicious rumours about her,” agitated colleague said.
Rodgers added that the guy has been stalking her vigorously for the last one year and she had to change a her number just to avoid this guy.
On rumors on financing her studies, he revealed that they are government sponsored students and their fees
