Murang’a Administrative Police, Isilas Kipkoech Koskei was on Tuesday charged alongside two accomplices for allegedly stealing construction materials from the Northern Water Collector Tunnel (NWCT) in the county.
The Kigumo AP was together with Peter Kilele and Ezekiel Maina charged with robbery with violence.
Kilele faced an alternative count of being in possession of a mobile phone that was robbed from Julius Wanyama Yohana, a security guard at the Maire NWCT construction site.
They all denied the charges and were released on Sh1 million bond with a surety of the same amount.
The three are set for hearing on July 24.
