The level of creativity in drug trafficking in Kenya is on the rise with traffickers transporting to various places.

In a span of two weeks, the DCI has nabbed drug traffickers who ‘creatively’ hid the drugs.

In one incident, police arrested a teacher among four suspects transporting a consignment of bhang from Marsabit to Moyale.

The officers arrested the four at a roadblock along Marsabit-Moyale highway acting on a tip-off from the public.

The administrator said the suspects had hidden the substance in the tubeless tyres of a saloon car registration number KBU 456C which was also impounded.

On March 28th, Anti-Narcotic Detectives seized narcotic drugs tacked in several books at the JKIA.

The recent one of April 9th, is where the traffickers placed the drugs on Radio speakers.

The Heroin weighing approximately 12 kilograms, concealed in two radio speakers & declared as traditional baskets & sandals was last week confiscated by DCI based at JKIA.

The consignment which was destined for Monrovia-Liberia, was delivered for export by a clearing agent.

The DCI on the other side has been fighting hard to make sure that the drug traffickers are brought into justice.
