Mike Sonko feels the wrath of KoT Despite Donating Relief Food to Turkana Residents

They say when you go to help the poor, you need to leave your camera at home. It seems Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has never heard of this saying.

There is no doubt that Sonko is one of the most generous governors, he is always available to help the poor. But some people have argued the governor is always using this for cheap attention.

Sonko announced on Wednesday that he was sending Sonko Rescue Team, with trucks of food stuffs to Turkana County.

Immediately after that, the tag #SonkoHelpsTurkana started trending. And Kenyans were not really happy about that.

Was Sonko really using misfortune to gain attention? Did he have to announce that he was helping the poor or he should have done it silently?

If your helping Turkana people, do it without pictures. We are tired of this nonsense your bloggers are parading on social media but mum on your Deputy and Cabinet. Hoping that the 528/= is not coming from Nairobi County kitty.

So Sonko helped Turkana residents and went ahead and hired bloggers to ensure he trended on social media?

Sonko sent donation to Turkana and now his influencers are pushing #SonkoHelpsTurkana ha I don't have any problem with them. What I want to point out is, he's doing all this for clout, Sonko has mastered the art of trickery, hides behind philanthropy which is a manipulating tool
