Governor Sonko has given Sh5 million to the victims of the Toi Market fire after their stalls were burnt down in a tragic fire accident.
While addressing traders sonko promised to be back to start rebuilding the market.

Earlier, ODM leader Raila Odinga blamed landgrabbers for the fire, which destroyed parts of Toi market near Kibra.
“This is not the first time Toi is being razed. This was well planned,” Raila said.
“It is not accidental. I’m sure landgrabbers are behind this so they can come tomorrow with the help of police officers to evict owners. I want to assure you that we will not allow this to happen.”
Calling for investigations, Raila said he would engage other leaders to find a lasting solution.
