Bishop Johnston Wandera has revealed that AFC Leopards is going to impress whenever they play at Bukhungu Stadium and those thinking the side will be relegated will be ashamed at the end of the season.
The Bishop was shocked when he learned that the side was battling relegation and was present to pray for the team as it played against Sony Sugar in Kakamega.
“It took as by a surprise that our team is languishing last on the table something that has never happened for years, that’s why we are here to pray for the team and from today it will be Win win win for leopards, those who were laughing at us that we are going for relegation will be ashamed”. the bishop was
The bishop the coach termed Machakos as a cursed ground and urged AFC Leopards managed to make a return home where they will be able to attract more crowds.
“We ask the management to bring back the team home at Bukhungu where the team has followers and not Machakos stadium, which is a cursed ground. Look at the crowd here and compare with Machakos” he added.
Leopards, who are now 16th on the log with 13 points, will travel away to take on Tusker in their next KPL before playing host to Sofapaka and Western Stima at a yet to be confirmed ground(s).
