Akothee challenges parents to be responsible for their children upbringing

Kenyan Female Artist Akothee has challenged parents to be responsible when raising their children.

There has been a debate ever since Akothee was blasted over her raunchy performance with the moral police saying that she cannot be a role model in the society.

Akothee cautioned parents to warn their children not to follow her if they indeed do not want them to be associated with her habits.

She added that the reason why they follow her is because they lack a good foundation.

The Singer says that parents have to understand that it is not the responsibility of celebrities to raise their children.

She urged them to model their children before they pick up inappropriate habits from the celebrities.

Akothee also added that children who have both parents raising them are at a greater advantage and lucky.

The Singer says that she managed to raise her children as a single mother yet families of both parents face a huge challenge when it comes to child upbringing.

Akothee wants parents to wake up and be held accountable over their children’s lives.
