Deputy President William Ruto is trending on twitter for all the wrong reasons. The DP has come under a lot of criticism after he denied that the government had lost more than sh 21 billion in the Kamwaror and Arror Dams scandal.
” You’ve heard that govt has lost about Sh21bn in Kimwarer & Aror dam, which is a flat lie! The money in question is about Sh7 billion, & for every coin that has been paid, we have a bank guarantee. No money will be lost because we are a responsible govt .” Ruto said during a State of the Judiciary Address.
But Embakasi East MP Babu Owino says that maybe the DP got only 7 billion from his cronies. And that is the only money he knows.
