NACADA Director Chipukeezy has today empowered Dagoreti recovering addicts after an interactive session with them.
Speaking to the recovering addicts, Chipukeezy encouraged them to say no to drugs and help to create awareness on the dangers of drugs.
Chipukeezy warned that the misuse of drugs is a killer to generations and therefore it is important for people to fight against it.
He also promised to provide them with financial support so that they may start their businesses to help them have a source of income.
He also added that people should join efforts to fight in this war saying that drug abuse is not just a problem of NACADA or government but of the whole nation.
The NACADA Director then met with the Deputy inspector general Kenya Mr.Mbugua and briefed him on the war against drug abuse.
