Police Link fake Cash Impounded To Fake Uhuru con suspects.

Trouble is spreading like wild fire for Joseph Henry Waswa who was arrested over the weekend by detectives for fraud. The Bungoma based flamboyant business tycoon is accused of conning and impersonating to receive money by false pretense in the name of kenya’s president Uhuru Kenyatta.


As Mobutu Sese Seko quoted that “If you steal, do not steal much. You may be arrested. Steal cleverly, little by little”. Joseph Waswa’s fate is not only limited to impersonating the person of the president of Kenya but also being in possession of fake cash impounded by police.

It’s reported that Police have impounded billions of shillings in fake foreign currency from a house associated with Uhuru Impostor Joseph Waswa and his other six counter parts charged with defrauding Sameer Africa boss of Sh10 million.

The fake money was found stuffed in boxes in a house in Ruiru, Kiambu County after a raid on Wednesday and two people have so far been arrested.

The incident happened moments after the court released the seven men; Joseph Waswa, Duncan Muchai, Isaac Wajekeche, William Simiyu, David Luganya, Gilbert Kirunja and Anthony Wafula on Sh200,000 bond each.
