President Uhuru Kenyatta is mourning the death of a prominent Murangá business man, Thayu Kamau Kabugi. He was hailed by the President for being a strong-willed person who helped in the growth of the Kenyan economy.
He described Kabugi as a true patriot and a nationalist who created job opportunities through his businesses; ” Indeed, he was a nationalist who believed in hard work and building strong bonds of friendship. He was exceptional in his commitment to both business and community development as demonstrated by his contribution to several community projects.”
The President noted that Mr. Kabugi had given hope to Kenyans and opportunities to own homes through his real estate ventures.
