As the news of Caroline Mwatha death broke out from mainstream media, inflicting a multitude of conflicting reactions from Kenyans all over. The human rights activist who went missing a week ago has been found dead at a city mortuary after a botched abortion, police said Tuesday.
Statement from Directorate of Criminal Investigations reveals that Mwatha may have died as a result of excessive bleeding inflicted by botched abortion. It states that their investigation reveals that she was five months pregnant and had been dating Alexander Gitau Gikonya who works at Isiolo County.
Alexander is said to have sent money to procure an abortion. Police have therefore confirmed arrest of six suspects believed to be behind her death and subsequent movement of her body to the mortuary
Deported lawyer Miguna Miguna, has been very vocal in voicing his opinion and beliefs that the country is a tyranny thereby calling for a revolution.
As we celebrate the life of Caroline Mwatha and continue searching for Brian Ojiwa, let us remember and act on a few fundamental facts: Tyranny does not bring security. Tyranny does not bring peace. Tyranny does not bring unity. Tyranny does not bring justice. #RevoltForFreedom

My deep-felt condolences to the family of Caroline Mwatha. Her brutal murder proves that tyranny consumes all patriots, whether they are perceived to be radical or just ordinary citizens trying to improve the material conditions around them. Join the struggle against tyranny.

On Caroline Mwatha’s death being framed a ‘botched abortion fail’ he brought out the big guns calling the people who claim so ‘Zombies and Mummies’. His tweet read:
The zombies who claim that Caroline Mwatha died as a result of a “botched abortion” are the same mummified Egyptians who believed that Dr. Robert Ouko whom Moi and Biwott had murdered had committed suicide and that JM Kariuki had “fled to Zambia” in 1975 when Jomo had killed him.

That a human rights activist dies as a result of a “botched abortion”~the very foetus whose rights she had vowed to protect.I not only mourn her loss but I also weep at the police’s insult to my intelligence.#JusticeForCarolineMwatha
