The tragic image of Emiliano Sala ‘s dog waiting for him to return has broken hearts around the world.
Sala went missing aboard a piper malibu aircraft over the English Channel on January 21 shortly after signing for Cardiff in a club-record, £15million deal.
Both the wreckage and a body have since been discovered but it has not yet been identified.
His sister Romina has now revealed she has adopted the footballer’s loyal dog after the pooch was pictured waiting for him to come home.
Sala has passed on at the age of 29
