35 yr old arrested in bold theft attempt outside the DCI headquarters

The boldest of all thieves apparantely dared the Kenyan securityservics by taking his criminal activities to the Directorate of criminal Investigations vicinity but ended up as expected in the hands of the law regreting his un bright move.

Mr Wilson Kithome Muinde aged 35 years was arrested for attempting to steal a spare wheel from a vehicle parked outside the DCI headquarters.

Wilson Kithome Muinde, a resident of Utawala Estate, will be arraigned in court for theft against section 389 of the penal code.

Mean while in another tremendous achievement by the DCI incountering terrorism the office has announced that it has receivedequipment that will help in investigations on anti terrorism operations.

The department also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland on the provision of crime scene investigation kits to be used by the Anti Terrorism Police Unit.

“The equipment will be used to gather evidence on authorised operations,” DCI said.
